Last Thursday evening I headed to Cheltenham’s trendy coffee house, Brew & Bake for a fabulous three course feast. It was the second time I had been to the supper club and once again it didn’t disappoint!
Located on Bath Road, Brew & Bake serves coffee and cake by day and holds a monthly pop up restaurant by night. The supper club offers a scrumptious three course menu, with a choice of three dishes for each course, as well as Hobbs House Bakery bread and dips on arrival.
The food is absolutely divine, portions generous, service excellent and atmosphere cosy – I cannot recommend it enough! At just £24.99 per person, it’s great value for money and what’s more, it’s bring your own booze, which is even kept chilled and served by the friendly staff for you.
You pre-order your menu choices a few days before. I went for wild mushroom soup, lamb bonbon with minted mash potato and trio of chocolate – tart, mousse and ice cream to finish. It was so good!
If you live in Gloucestershire and haven’t been yet, you really need to give it a try. Brew & Bake normally offers two sittings for the supper club – 5.30pm and 8.00pm. There’s only around 20 places on each so book in advance. Check out Brew & Bake’s Facebook page for more information.
Mark the owner and chef is planning on doing a Valentine’s night so I’ll definitely be back for that!
